The Concept

KPAC Student Radio felt that the usual student activity fairs do not give many clubs justice by just having tables set up with representatives and flyers. So this time, it is a more competitive and interactive fair, with a limited number of sign-ups to create a sense of prestige. The event will be broken down into a structured time-frame, where bands, DJs, organizations, shows, performances, and other activities will trade the spotlight with each other. Each organization has the option of preparing a table set up with their flyers and representatives. You can show up just your time slot performance and forget the table, or you can set up a table for 1 hour, 3 hours, or if you really want to, all 6 hours. Each component has a different amount of time alloted to them for this event. Dance performances have a 15-minute cap at the moment, and bands will have at least 20 minutes. We are trying to allow everyone to have a little bit of the spotlight, but not make the event just about one person or organization. Just tell us what you want to do!

The Specifics

Here's some more detailed info about some of the components:

Live Student Bands
Student bands can receive up to 30 minutes of performance time on the stage.

Live Student DJs
Student DJ's will coordinate the music of all of the performances and provide music in between performances.

Student Car Show
Project Kinetics is running a student car/truck/bike show that will be placed on Stagg Way. 45 spots are available. Each hour will have a seperate tour of the cars, such as interior, exterior, drivetrain, sound system, etc.

Art Show
Students can submit their artwork, graphic or studio, to display and can compete for best graphic art and best studio art!

Local Business Promotions
The local businesses will receive a discount if they choose to sign up as a KPAC sponsor and purchase advertising packages!

Halloween Costume Contest
Prizes for Best Individual and Best Group, plus pictures of the winners will be placed on PAC-2 TV Channel 2 & the KPAC Website!

Prizes & Raffles
There will be a raffle in which guests may purchase raffle tickets to win prizes and gift cards!
