How do I join KPAC/PAC2, or obain my own show?

We are now accepting show applications for Fall 2008. Here's the checklist:
  1. Download the Fall 2008 KPAC Kode of Konduct (Word Format)
  2. Read over our Kode of Konduct. This is the agreement between our hosts and KPAC.
  3. Download the Fall 2008 KPAC Kwuiz (Word Format)
  4. Fill out the KPAC Kwuiz. All Hosts must complete this document. Use the website resources to help you along the way.
  5. Download the Fall 2008 KPAC Application (Excel Format)
  6. Fill out the Application in Excel. Save and Rename the file appropriately. All Hosts must "sign" that you agree to the Kode of Konduct on this application.
  7. Create a Show Graphic/Picture. Need some ideas?
  8. Email your completed KPAC Application, KPAC Kwuiz, and your Show Picture to kpac@pacific.edu
  9. Give us a few days to look over all of your materials and we will contact you via the email you supplied in the application. Thank you for making the initiative!!!

Not a fan of a radio show but still want to get involved?

There's TONS of other ways to be apart of Pacific's next biggest hit organization, either as a music manager, event planner, computer engineer, or even a member of our Street Team! Check the membership page for complete information on involvement at KPAC/PAC2!

Why would I want my own radio show?

Our radio show hosts/officers have joined KPAC Radio and PAC2 TV for any number of reasons. These reasons include learning about radio, get experience with public speaking without having to speak directly to an audience, trying to educate or reach more people about certain issues, do something constructive with free time, put something interesting on their resume or help get their name out to prospective employees (especially in the communications field), gain an image or popularity on campus for themselves or their interests/group/organization, and ultimately: to have fun! Also, because KPAC hosts do their shows on a volunteering basis, they can earn community service hours through the Center for Community Involvement. For more info on getting your KPAC hours registered, call the CCI at x62444.

Who can have a KPAC Radio show?

Any Pacific Student, regardless of major/class standing, any Pacific Club or Organization, regardless of their mission, any Pacific Faculty/Staff member, regardless of department or position. KPAC is essentually open to anyone that is a part of our Pacific Community! in Fall 2008, we are likely to open the KPAC door to off-campus, not-for-profit organizations as well.

What happens after my application is submitted?

After your application is submitted, we will look it over to ensure that all parts have been completed. We will then contact you to schedule an interview to talk about how KPAC works, what our expectations are for hosts, and to see if our organization seems like a good match for you.
