Professional Pharmacy (PharmD) Preview Day

The Office of Pharmacy Admissions is pleased to host a Preview Day for prospective students to the Professional Doctor of Pharmacy Program. Immerse yourself in the Pacific community by attending a mock lecture, taking a tour of our facilities, and getting answers to your questions from our pharmacist and student panels. You will also attend sessions on admissions, financial aid, and hear from the faculty on our curriculum, clinics/healthcare fairs, and the latest technology used in our classrooms.

Updates for Fall 2018 Applicants:

PharmCAS Application

  • In addition to the PharmCAS application, our Fall 2018 applicants are now required to complete the supplemental application in the PharmCAS portal.
  • The PharmCAS application will be available in mid-July.

 Early Decision

  • Early Decision will again be an option for students who have a commitment to Pacific. 
  • Candidates must designate Early Decision when submitting the PharmCAS application and these students will be given priority in the review process.
  • The Early Decision deadline is September 5, 2017.

Financial Aid

  • Financial Aid priority deadline is January 15, 2018. 
  • With the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) available to applicants in October, you can now prepare financial aid applications earlier in the process.

Start the Application Process

Before you begin, please do the following:

  1. Add admission@pacific.edu to your address book prior to applying to insure you do not miss pertinent e-mails from our office. Many students find their e-mail servers filter out our notifications.  Adding our address to your contacts allows you to receive all of our letters in a timely manner.
      
  2. Read the Application Instructions before you submit the PharmCAS application.  The instructions will outline what we require and which documents you are required to send to PharmCAS and which documents should come directly to Pacific. Our supplemental questions are included in the PharmCAS application and you are able to upload required supplemental documents into your PharmCAS file.
      
  3. Click and read through all links listed below and on the left hand side of the page.  These pages outline the required pre-requisites, transferable courses from your school, calendar of events, how to apply, tuition and fees, financial aid, and the technical standards required to complete our program.

The PharmCAS is required for all students and must be received by December 1st in order to meet our deadline. The Early Decision deadline is September 5, 2017. See details below under Deadline Information and please be sure to read the application instructions prior to submitting your application.
