The Department of Art and Graphic Design is committed to excellence in undergraduate education, offering future graphic designers and studio artists a rewarding program in a personal, supportive and collaborative environment. Our department is integrated within the College of the Pacific's distinctive liberal arts program, the historical hallmark of our university.
With small class sizes in the department, our faculty inform and inspire. Faculty members are able to provide individual mentorship, enriched by their own professional experience as artists and designers, that gives students the opportunity to grow as artists and designers.
We help students achieve intellectual and professional skill sets that enhance their ability to understand and contribute to the future through art and design. By performing a variety of outreach services both in the Stockton community and abroad, students also produce a legacy of community awareness and pride. Our students regularly accept graduate appointments and professional positions in their respective fields.
