Search Update: Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs
As was recently announced, Berit Gundersen has decided to step down from her position as Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs effective June 30, 2018.  A search is underway to fill this administrative position. Provost Pallavicini's goal is to make an appointment prior to the end of the spring term.

The job description is now posted in People Admin and open for internal and external applications until filled. Julie Davies, Professor of Law at McGeorge School of Law, will chair a search committee currently being formed.  

The Provost encourages interested members of the Academic Division to review the job description and consider applying for this position. The Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs works closely with faculty to enhance opportunities for faculty professional development, supports a climate to mentor and retain a diverse faculty, oversees promotion and tenure processes and works to enhance the faculty work climate. This is a 0.75-1.0 FTE (negotiable), three-year renewable appointment. Preference will be given to those who have earned the rank of Full Professor.
