Roberta Martoza to maintain university policies website

To ensure that the university's policies and associated practices are posted and easily accessible to all faculty, staff and students, President Eibeck has asked Risk Management Director Roberta Martoza to be accountable for maintaining the university policies website.

Easily accessible policy and procedures information provides clarity to the Pacific community regarding how specific efforts should be conducted, and helps the university strengthen its compliance with external and internal expectations regarding business operations.  

Pacific's General Counsel Kevin Mills is leading the development of a Policy on Policies (PoP), which will govern the creation, adoption and dissemination of policies at University of the Pacific. Until the PoP is in place, it is vital that new or modified university policies continue to be posted on the policy website.   

Martoza and Senior Analyst for Research and Policy Development Robin Dionne will work directly with the Office of the General Council, Pacific Technology, Marketing and Communications and others across the university to ensure the policy website reflects the latest version of all university policies. At least twice annually she will report to the administration a list of the policies that have been updated, modified or are under development. Once the PoP has been finalized and approved, these responsibilities may be revised in order to conform with that policy.
