Budget Planning Workshop - June 14

To help employees prepare for the payroll changes coming this summer, Human Resources has scheduled a Budget Planning Workshop on June 14 from 10:30 a.m. to noon on the Stockton Campus in the Human Resources Training Room (available by webinar on the Sacramento and San Francisco campuses). The workshop will be facilitated by a Pacific alumnus, Gio Trinchera '81, from the Bank of Stockton, who will cover using budgeting tools t to help employees plan their monthly income and expenses for the change to biweekly pay. The workshop is free and open to all employees; there is no expectation or obligation to use Bank of Stockton products or services. To sign up or learn more, please contact Linda Jeffers, Director of Human Resources (ljeffers@pacific.edu).

Budgeting and financial assistance also is available by calling the Employee Assistance Program toll-free at 1.877.595.5281 (ask for financial planning/budgeting assistance and tell them you are from the University of the Pacific), or visiting www.guidanceresources.com (REGISTER using EAPBusiness as the Organization Web ID, and UNIVE as the Company name).

We encourage you to contact Payroll to determine the best option. Any benefit eligible staff member converting to the biweekly pay cycle who has an active status or any appointment of 50 percent or more is eligible for the transition assistance program; details on the transition assistance loan and the application are available here. Details on the vacation cash out and the application form are available here.
