Student Success is one of the critical areas of inquiry that will comprise Pacific's WSCUC reaccreditation report. Over the past fall semester, the Student Success WSCUC Working Group has been gathering evidence and data on the work that the institution has conducted to promote student success. The working group is examining our institutional data, student support services, the student experience during the first year, advising, technology support and facilities that support student success. Sources of evidence under examination include the following:

  • Data gathered or created by the Student Success Committee over the past few years.
  • A recent institutional review by Credo, focused on student success, prompted the Division of Student Life and the Academic Division to gather a great deal of data and information for that review. Credo's Recommendations Report, presented on December 12, is expected to provide insight and guidance as we prepare for WSCUC.
  • The Pacific 2025 strategic planning priority of "Thriving Students," currently in development, will also help the university focus on this important area of inquiry.

All of the evidence examined will be used to draft a narrative on student success which will be included in Pacific's WSCUC self-study report.
